The location
Eventhough on their website it says private parking, they do not have it. Cheapest pillow filling, matrasses, linen and towels ever. Room is redone in a very cheap way, unfinished and using the cheapest materials available. You hear everything going by outside, very noisy!

Beautifully clean, very friendly owner who was happy to oblige with anything you needed. Contemporary furnishings worked very well in this old building. Location was excellent for the centre of Bruges. Would definately book again.

The hotel was really nice - small, intimate and centrally located in the old town of Brugge. The breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, with a variety of food. The price of the hotel per night was reasonable, especially given its location. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to friends.
Although comfortable, the room we were in was quite cramped in terms of space. That said, we had a nice stay and its size didn't interfere with our relaxation.

We were made very welcome with plenty of advice on what to do and where to get good quality meals etc at a reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent.
Lack of lift to upper floors. We understand a lift will be installed in the near future.

Perfect location and wonderful hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and cared for, breakfast was delicious - especially the heart shaped sunny side up eggs! Thank you for a lovely stay.

The hotel of choice in Bruges. Modern and reasonably clean property with lovely view of the garden. Airy room, exceptionally comfortable bed, and large bathroom. Great amenities like central heating, a private safe, and a flat-screen TV.

The location was incredible, a 10-15 minute walking distance from a popular central plaza. It was right by the main square, restaurants, and chocolate shops.

We very much enjoyed our time at Alegria. The manager was very warm and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty and in a lovely setting, and the rooms comfortable for both reading and sleeping. A special touch of Easter eggs and decorations was great.
